“Self Indulgence” and “Maybe We Got Something to Talk About” are fantastic. I wish I could vote for them both.. The Daisy shot is beautiful for sure. but its yet again another flower shot. and Lion great portrait but it looks super fixed up in photo shop. I find much more magic and creative beauty in the phone image and the smokey self portrait.
Just a little note about how Sandra and I choose the photos for nomination.
There are a lot of good ones that come through, so Sandra first chooses 6-8 possibles, trying to go back a bit and pick up any photos that were previously submitted, but also looking at the work of new members. She also tries to get a representative sample of all types of photos — b&w, landscape, portraits, photoshopped, etc..
Then out of that bunch Sandra passes along to me I choose 4 photos. The final ones I choose really have no logic — sometimes I notice we just had a photo from a certain photographer a couple of weeks ago and I want to include a new member.
That’s about it.
Oh, I have a question: we received a video submission to the group. How do people feel about having video nominations to the POTW? Just wondering . . .
Im not really sure how to vote, but i definitely think that “Maybe We Got Something To Talk About” is the winner. It is the most original, the flower shot is nice but so overdone. The smoky mirror I feel is also very emo and LAME.
The Bird is in Tropical Paradise at the moment but is dreaming of Dandelions and Daisies.
Bill, I just tried to vote,,,, I think maybe something is wrong. “It” didn’t acknowledge that I voted .Also I couldn’t “View Results”. Not sure if its on my end or not?

There doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with the voting, and I’ve never received reports of problems. I double checked and I couldn’t find anything . . .
Did you vote before? If you did it won’t let you vote again. If someone voted on that computer before, you won’t be able to vote again on the same computer.
