Photo Share Podcast #7

FlurryThis week we have our first Skype interview. David Muir joins us from Glasgow, Scotland to discuss  copyright  issues,  Creative Commons,  and his experience with these issues in his job of training teachers in Scotland. David mentioned a good video explaining Creative Commons Licenses and how they work; you can find a few different Creative Commons videos here.

We also want to thank Harry Harris, who submitted the photo of the week. It’s an interesting picture because it’s a composite photo made from 4 different photos.

Finally, our question of the week, which you can answer on the Photo Share Podcast Flickr group, on the Web site, or on the comment line:

Have you ever tagged another flickr member’s photo or vice versa. If someone has tagged yours, how does it make you feel? Ever delete a tag someone else has left?

Have a great week!

    HI Bill and Sandra
Great job on your 7th Podcast. they are getting better and better..this is definately your best one yet. I love that you had the interview with David Muir. He is such and intersting chap. Interviews each week surrounding one major topic with someone from the flickr community is a great way to go…very interesting and a great way for all of us listening to get to know other flickr members better. Thanks again
    Amy

    Hello there

Just wanted to say again how much I enjoyed chatting to you both. …And once again you’ve provoked me into writing:

Re your question about tagging: I regularly find that my photos have had tags added - but as the person who does it is my son I reckon he thinks I’m lazy about tagging. I’m happy to be re-tagged if it helps make the process work better.
And when I’ve used someone else’s photos (in my blogs, for example) I’m always delighted by their encouragement - but I always leave a comment to say what I’m doing.
